Curricular internships abroad

Curricular internships

Curricular internships are training experiences envisaged by students' study plan. The internships duration depends on the number of credits (ECTS).

The School/Department in which the student is enrolled is responsible for assessing the educational value of each internship. Hence, to activate this type of internship, it is necessary to contact the Job Placement Office of your own School/Department.

All companies intending to benefit from the services offered by the Job Placement Office must be registered on www.unito.it. The procedures for activating curricular internships abroad are indicated on the pages of the Job Placement Offices.

In some cases, according to the regulations in force in the destination countries, the activation procedure consists of an agreement between the company/institution and the intern, without the need for the University to act as guarantor. Therefore, in order to allow the student to earn internship credits, this experience may be accredited through a recognition procedure carried out by the University Course in which the student is enrolled. Before departure, it is important to verify if the Univeristy Course in question offers this kind of service.

Please Note: Internships abroad carried out as part of the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme are not included in the procedures described above. In this case, it is necessary to contact the International Office.
