University of Aosta Valley – academic partner

Located in a cross-border region bordering on France, and where French is recognised as an official language, the University ranks third in the Censis list of Italy’s most international small-scale universities. Thanks to several mobility and scientific cooperation agreements, students can choose from a number of options for spending periods of study or work abroad within the framework of specific programmes or double degrees, including the one with the University of Savoie Mont-Blanc, in Chambéry. The University of Aosta Valley is a member of the University Francophone Agency (AUF) and it is also the seat of the only Chaire Senghor de la Francophonie in Italy.

 

 

University of Genoa– academic partner

Located in Liguria, in the North-West of Italy and close to France, the University of Genoa covers 6 univeristy towns with a total offer of more than 120 courses. The development of cultural exchanges and international partnerships represents a high-priority objective and the internationalisation services are constantly engaged in order to promote and increase exchanges in the field of didactic, research and internships, through cooperation agreements, Erasmus programmes and double degree agreements with European (including France and Belgium) and non-European countries.

 

 

 

Embassy of France in Italy– non academic partner

The Embassy of France is responsible for maintaining and developing bilateral relations between France and Italy, from a political and economic, but also social and cultural, point of view. Thanks to the network of French Institutes, it is strongly committed to promoting the French language and culture. In addition, it maintains important collaborations in the academic field with the University of Turin. Indeed, it supports for many years the Lecturer position in order to ensure the teaching in French and the promotion of cooperation projects. The Embassy also actively participated in events organized by UniTo in cooperation with AUF in 2017 and 2018.

 

Alliance Française in Turin – non academic partner 

The Alliance Française in Turin promotes the French language teaching by organising language courses and workshops, teachers' training and dissemination of language certifications in educational, academic and professional domains. In addition, thanks to the cooperation with th University of Turin, it also organises cultural events and develops artistic, cultural and intellectual exchanges between France and Italy. The Turin-based subsidiary, as the most developed and with the highest number of participants during its activites, is positioned as leader of the 44 Alliances Françaises in Italy.

 

Réseau Entreprendre – non academic partner

Born in France in 1986, Entreprendre is an international network of 120 associations spread across 10 countries and whose mission is to create new jobs and support SME entrepreneurs. This network is managed by voluntary entrepreneurs providing support and coaching other entrepreneurs, in order to create a new business, grow it up or help it in stress cases. The activity of Entreprendre is based on three fundamental principles: the centrality of the person, the free offer and the reciprocity of knowledge and know-how. Since its creation, more than 100,000 jobs have been created or maintained.
